Project Estimates (Bidder)

Document a potential project in a format that is similar to a word processor and spreadsheet rolled into one! With this service you can list the possible items needed, number of units and unit cost in a spreadsheet like fashion.  Include things like labor, material, or anything else that is a cost in a potential project.  This is hidden from the outside world and visible only to you.  Free 14 days of usage when you sign up.

Some updates were made to the Profile pages.

1. Your BrowSweat URL is now displayed at the top of your Profile page.   You can copy this link and paste it in e-mails, documents, or business cards.
2. “Add new comment” and “Contact Me” links are now located at the top and bottom of the Profile page.  This makes it easier for others users to contact you or leave a comment on your page.

Frequently Asked Questions has been added and is a work in progress.  Let us know if you have any questions that you feel would help others, and we’ll post them.

This field was renamed to “Business/Work Area”.  This seemed to be better suited for the online sellers while still a good fit for the construction type Sweaters.  Please be sure to check this field to make sure it fits your business.

Want to get noticed by the search engines?  Make sure the images you upload have a meaningful name.  IMG1234.jpeg is not as likeable to the search engines as “Before Window Replacement.jpeg”

• Added Canadian Provinces to the State list.
  • Changed the label of the field to State/Province in Profiles and Sweater Search
• Added State / Province / Territory descriptive labels to state/province list rather than using the abbreviations.

Sweaters don’t need to do anything to their profile since this change is automatic.  The Sweater Search is now easier to use since the filter State/Province uses the more descriptive name rather than the abbreviation.

The images in the Sweater Profiles have had some minor tweaks made to clarify the separation of the images and descriptions.  You can update your profile whenever you would like to make your picture descriptions as clear as possible to potential clients.

This blog will be used to document several things that don’t warrant a newsletter being sent:

• minor feature updates
• look-and-feel changes 

In addition, ideas on promoting your business with BrowSweat will be occasionally blogged.
